RESUME

Education
I received a B.S. in Chemistry from Queens College in New York City. I also attended business and management courses during my years in the scientific information business. And I can read scientific papers in seven languages, although few of them fluently.
More recently, I've attended online creative writing courses at Writers Village University. I was a mentor's apprentice during the survey writing class, F2K a couple of times before becoming a mentor.
I've taken classes toward the WVU MFA certificate, and facilitated several classes.

Scientific Information industry
1963 - 2008
I created summaries and indexing to point scientists toward articles that would help them with their research. For a while I was a freelance translator. During the last twenty years of my career, I managed groups of 25-40 scientists producing online scientific information databases. I also enabled adaptation of the most current methods to build the databases and access them, participating in the transition from paper to online .
Writer
2008 - present
After retiring, I switched gears from fact-based literature to writing fiction, but science still plays a part in my stories. National Novel Writing Month in 2008 gave me a great boost in just writing. After that, with the help of critique groups and writing classes, I've honed my craft.
